Abby is a beautiful, vibrant teenager who always has a smile on her face! She suffers from several debilitating medical conditions, however; she does not let them slow her down in the least. Mom is always on the run trying to keep up with her!

Abby’s wish was a trip to Hershey Park, “The Sweetest Place on Earth”! The Wish Connection made her dream come true! Abby and her family traveled to the airport in an elegant stretch limousine. From there she boarded her Delta Airline flight and was greeted by the Delta Captain; he gave her a complete tour of the cockpit. Once the flight was underway Abby entertained Delta passengers by handing out Hershey kisses! Sweet!

Upon her arrival at the Hershey Lodge she was greeted by the awesome staff, which showered her with sweet delights, true Hershey Happiness. That evening she enjoyed a special dinner, in her honor, at the Bears Den. Every evening the Hershey Lodge delivered baskets filled with cookies, candy, and goodies galore and of course a tall glass of milk to wash it all down! The next day began with an outing to Hershey Park where she hit all the exhilarating roller coasters and countless thrilling rides and wound down with a cool dip in the Hershey Lodge pool.

Next up was a trip to Chocolate World! First stop was Hershey’s Really BIG 3-D Show, an animated musical adventure with special effects. Then it was on to a super cool ride on the Hershey Trolley Works through Hershey Town. Her next adventure was creating her very own candy bar! Just like the Hershey Factory innovators, dressed in an apron and hairnet, she picked out her own ingredients and watched her “Abby Creation” ride along the conveyor belt. YUM-O!

Abby was nature bound for her next sweet experience to the Hershey Garden; 23 acres of botanical beauty. Abby visited the Butterfly House (300 fluttering butterflies trying to tickle her nose), the Children’s Garden, the Rose Garden, and Japanese Garden. Her sweetness of a day wrapped up with a tour of the Hershey Story Museum.

The next day Abby experienced thrills and spills at Hershey Water Park. That afternoon the wildlife called Abby to take a walk on the wild side at Zoo America. She experienced more than 200 animals, from five regions, of authentic North American Wildlife!

Finally, it was back to San Antonio where The Wish Connection anxiously awaited her return and presented her with a sterling silver Hershey Kiss pendent; to serve as a sweet memory of her wish. The hilarious irony of her wish is while Abby enjoys chocolate milk she does not care for anything else that is chocolate!
